What an amazing 40 days it has been. I completly gave up blogging as well as reading blogs for that time. I allowed myself half and hour to look for jobs and use my email. I can't believe how fast the time went as well as what life threw at me in that time.
I really took that time to do quite a few things I had been putting off and jump into a few things that I needed to figure out.
I took the time to really dive into my bible. To start to consistently read and spend time in this. I definatly learned that this is a much needed time for me. It made me realize how important my relationship to Christ is in my life and how much it really impacts my life. As a teen, I really took this relationship for granted and I didn't really do anything but go to church on Sunday and youth on Friday. I can't believe the stuff that I'm learning, and lots of past burdens have been lifted. If there was any doubt before about God, there is no doubt now.
On the job front, I was working 2 jobs with a ton of subbing, at different schools as well as daycares. Honestly I was getting quite tired and as of the last couple weeks been quite sick with a cold. I was run down but I was happy. I was finally seeing some money coming in, and I wasn't forced any longer to move out of my place and into my parents. I had honestly stopped wondering how I was going to do this, and had decided that God was bigger then me, and he could take care of it. Imagine my surprise when soon after that I suddenly had a roommate. No coincidence. Just Gods timing. Which really is fantastic, and beautifully planned as I got another teaching job.
Yep you read that right, I got another job, starting April 16 going until the end of June. Which means I'm moving. For 2.5 months. I will be moving to a small Saskatchewan town. Teaching grade 2/3. I can't wait. Everything is just falling beautifully into place. I've been to the town and met with the class, and I think I have a wonderful class in a great school.
Anyways I'm sure that alot more has happened since I started my fast, but thats all I can think of at the moment. Its been wonderful and scary and fantastic at the same time and I can't wait to see what else is coming my way.
