Well I have offically been a teacher for a while now, and I won't lie I love every freaking moment of it. There are times when I doubt my choice of taking on this job and feel completly inadequate but then I have an AHA moment with a student or get a hug or a compliment and I realize that I love it.

I have been getting up early and going to bed early, and spending my weekends and my nights planning, but I wouldn't have it any other way right now. I love watching my kindergarten students discover and learn and explore new things everyday. I enjoy watching my grade 1/2's write and read and realize that they are smart and can do so well when they try. I enjoy watching my grade 6/7/8 computer class discover differnt things and explore the internet with a passion and a zeal for learning and doing their best.

There is a reason why I have no been around and its not even that I'm busy teaching which I am. My computer broke two weeks ago, and it is still not fixed. Hopefully soon. So until then, I'll update when I can....

First....

Well I've already had my first phone call to a Mom. But the one thing about parents in this small town is that their are usually supportive. Thats what I found today and I am very glad for that.

Life has not slowed down in the least. I am crazy busy with my 5 different hats I wear at the school, but I am learning a ton and having fun along the way.

I enjoy my class and I enjoy the teaching. We are all still learning how to work together and understand the rules, but its all good.

Anyways I haven't been around much, so just bear with me. I'll try to update more.
