So I thought I'd update a little about the job. I am taking over a maternity leave until December. My primary job is going to be Kindergarten, as well as on my non-k days I will be the other teacher for the grade 1/2 split. I am also a parttime resource teacher. Four days a week, I will be teaching grades 4/5/6 art education and one day a week I will be teaching grades 7/8 computers.
I think my life is going to be very busy but incredibly fun. I can't wait until I can get in their in August and set up my classroom and do everything assocaited with it.
I guess I could share about the interview. I got there and they were running late. I ended up sitting with the secretary, talking and gabbing. My interview went incredibly well. I felt comfortable answering the questions and only had one that really stumped me, but they were okay, as it was one of those spur of the moment questions.
Anyways at the end of my interview, they asked if I had any questions and I just wanted to know when I would hear back. They told me to wait in the office, phoned my references and offered me the job right there. I was so shocked and incredibly happy!!!!
Anyways so I feel better knowing what I will be doing in the fall, now I just have the nerves of "Oh my goodness they are trusting me to teach their children!"
