Let me fill ya'll in. Sunday I had an interview in Winnipeg. My friend Krystal had offered to come with me, and with that then her Mom offered to drive us in, since in reality neither one of us really knew where we were going.
Anyways so we got there early. I was feeling nervous, but the alligators weren't going the jig, they were just slow dancing. I could handle it. I went up for my interview and I had a couple minutes outside the room before I had to go in. I was able to pray for my nerves and God's will on the whole situtation.
The interview was with a guy I had already met, so I was immediatly comfortable. The questions he asked I felt really comfortable answering and had examples for most of the questions. From there I had to be videotaped answering two questions, which I think I did okay on. I mean I got nervous then, and my mind went blank, but he let me tape it twice so I felt better about that.
I have been informed that I have been accepted into the VIF program. Now we play the waiting game. I will be getting all kinds of documents ready in the next little bit, and then I just wait until I recieve an offer from a school. Anyways thats the update on the job situation. Right now I'm not feeling concerned or worried. I know that if I'm meant to be somewhere God's gonna make it happen!

Hmm, do i have to have a title?
Anyways I haven't been blogging because I have been running my tush off. I currently **counting Thursday** have 5 days of school left. I have about that many assignments, and then I'm trying to get ready for my interview on Sunday. Quite a busy girl if you ask me. Its quite scary this becoming an adult thing, but quite liberating at the same time.
I realized today that I could if I really wanted, move to Timbuktoo, and live in a hut. Wow. Empowering. I can do anything I want with my life. I had a friend yesterday who informed me that she sees a man in my future. I think I almost could've have died with laughter. Not me! My choice in men always sucks and I don't feel the need for a man right now, I so politly informed her. We'll see was all she said. I HATE when people say, we'll see. But really only when they have that mocking tone to thier voice. Anyways this is becoming quite a ramble. I shall get off and go to my bed and rest my weary eyes. Sweet Dreams!

Do you think he knows?

Do you think he knows we only have 2 more weeks of school?
Do you think he has realized that we are soon going to be embarking on a new adventure?
Well in 2 weeks time, Koda, DJ and I will no longer be Brandonites. We will become Reginaians agian. DJ and I for the second time and Koda for the first.
Its exciting and scary all at the same time. I have been looking forward to this day for the last 2 years and now its here! How scary but awesomely cool is that? I will be a full fledged teacher come May. Anyways, as I continue to pack up my stuff, the cats seem to think that their job is to jump in every box and make sure of course they mess it up. But thats why I love them.
Pray that I can find time for my big todo list as well as make time for friends and family here in Brandon. Pray that the cats don't give me too much of a hassle moving and that I can get everything accomplished. Oh and pray for my interview at the end of the month!!!

Born agian Lover

I am a born agian Valentines Day lover. For some odd reason, everytime someone got all pessimistic about Valentines day this year I got annoyed.
Usually I am the one who was complaining about it being commercialized and how it makes us single people realize how single we are. But this year I got into the spirit. No I didn't decorate my house or write lots of little valentines day cards, but I did realize that I could show people how much I love them.
So I babysat my most favoritest kids in the world. Making sure I gave and recieved as many hugs as I could.
Koda and DJ and I spent the morning in bed, cuddling and just relishing in thoughts of God's amazing love and his amazing grace. I'm in awe today. God loves me no matter the mistakes (and theres been whoppers), the stupid words, the actions, the silly little negative thoughts. He doesn't want just one day to remind us that he loves us. He tells us every day. He gave us this gorgeous earth, and the everyday simple pleasures. So have a Happy Valentines Day, remember that God loves you and that today is just a special reminder of Gods love.

I don't have it!
I sure don't have it. I have the biggest list of stuff to do. Some of its school work, but most of it is stuff I need to do before my interview and stuff I need to do to get my teacher certification. Why am I not jumping to do it? I am so lazy, or as my friend Jeremy would say, energy efficient. But seriously you think I would be jumping and running to get it all done. But the thing is, it all is gonna take money, which I don't have. And maybe I'm procrastinating because I'm scared of the future, but thats another blog. Anyways if you can think of any way to motivate me that would be fantastic!

Lifes Little Pleasures

One of my lifes little pleasures happens often when I come home from school or work, and I sit on the couch to veg.
It never fails, that Koda jumps on my knee and has a cuddle. I love this time. Makes me feel loved everytime hes on my knee. He's purring, and cuddly. Always makes himself comfortable even if I'm not. But do I move, nope I want my cuddles so I stay uncomfortable.
What are some of your little pleasures?

Ohhh, whats that in my mailbox?

I got home today to find a surprise.
There was a Lindt chocolate heart in my mailbox, and a little note. I felt so special and so loved. I love surprises. I'm not gonna lie. I was really sad that once agian that I was single and not going to get any presents for Valentines Day. I'm learning to hate this day. Anyways enough of my tirade.
I did get a present. I FEEL SO LOVED. Elise had said that she was going to do something, but if I'm honest which I am, I didn't believe her. I was like, yeah whatever. She has her man. She'll forget about me! Anyways she didn't, and I feel loved!
Thanx Elise!

Updates
I will be going to an interview at the end of Feburary. Before this interview I have to write an essay and send a bunch of documents down to the program headquarters.
During the interview, I have to answer two prearranged questions on a videotape. Needless to say I'm already nervous, and I'll probably ask alot of you to help me practise. This videotape is watched my potential principals, and they decide to hire me on that~ SCARY!~
Anyways so thats the update on that situation. I will be sending out some more resumes in the near future to different Saskatchewan School divisions for the next school year. Keep your fingers crossed!

It has arrived....
Thats right I bought the Carmen Electra Striptease videos. They are so much fun. I was given the first DVD for Christmas and I enjoy it so much that I had to buy the rest. I got such a great deal off Ebay that I couldn't resist.
Lets hope I'm good at the rest of the videos.
